Rules And Regulations

1.1 Punctuality & regular attendance is compulsory for every student.
1.2 Every student must attend the following,
Morning assembly & the flag-raising ceremony, intermediate students are exempted.
Lectures, tutorials, co-curricular actives (CCAs), laboratory work & all college functions.
In case of late arrival students are not allowed to enter the college.

2.1 A student is dismissed from college at the end of the last lesson for each day as stipulated in the timetable, except the compulsory boarders.
2.2 On days when the student is scheduled to attend a co-curricular activity (CCA),
He/she may only be dismissed upon conclusion of the activities conducted by the CCA.

3.1 A student having to leave the college before the end of his/ her scheduled curriculum time is required to put a leave application, approved by the class tutor, to the principal.
3.2 Students claiming leave on medical grounds are required to submit medical certificate from a govt: hospital or dispensary and Application should be handed over by parent through rout transport driver.
3.3 In case of boarder application another endorsement of hostel warden is also required, before submission to the principal.

6.1 Each student shall conduct herself/ himself, both within & outside the campus of the institute in a manner befitting a student of a prestigious institute. Each student shall show due respect & courtesy to the teachers, administrators, staff of the institute & to the visitors & residents of the institute & good behavior to fellow students.

6.2 Lack of courtesy & decorum; unbecoming conduct within & outside the institute; willful damage to institute property, removal of any property belonging to the institute, fellow students or other personnel & residents of the institute; use of abusive & offensive language: disturbing fellow students in their studies; breach of rules & regulations of the instate; adoption of unfair practices in tests, quizzes, assignments, or examinations; noisy & unruly behavior shall constitute violation of the code of conduct.

6.3 Loud talking, loitering or congregating, being a source of distraction & annoyance to others is not permitted.

6.4 Use of cell phones is strictly prohibited in all areas of the campus. If caught, the student him/herself will have to crush the cell phone set before the all students of the college.

6.5 No responsibility will be accepted by the institution for any injury, loss or damage to the personal articles of students within or outside the college premises.

6.6 The students at the institute require attention and diligence. A student neglecting his / her studies and having unsatisfactory even after warnings, he / she will not be promoted or have to face detention.

6.7 It is compulsory for the students to attend functions / activities organized by the institute on various occasions like Independence Day , Annual Day etc whether the function falls on a working day or on holiday. Absence from such functions without valid reasons will invite disciplinary action.

6.8 Students shall observe all safety precautions. The institute is not responsible for any accident of whatever nature, in the institute, hostel, playground and during educational tour/trip.

6.9 Students are prohibited to take part in ragging, political activity or any activity which is detrimental to the dignity of the institute. Any student found violating the rule or bringing disrepute to the institute will be expelled from the institute.

6.10 The students will compensate damage to institute / hostel property / furniture caused by neglect or willful damage. Defacing the walls or institute property will be viewed seriously. Students must make all possible efforts to conserve electricity and water. They must switch off lights & fans when they leave the classroom / hostel room, lab etc. students must help keep the institute neat and clean and also preserve and maintain the gardens.

6.11 Students must keep their identity cards always with them and shall show the same on demand by any faculty / official of the institute.

6.12 Any student found smoking or eating niswaar in the institute or in the hostel is liable to strict disciplinary actions which may be up to expulsion from the Institute.

6.13 The students are advised to see regularly the notices displayed on the Institute / hostel notice boards. The notice displayed on these notices boards shall be deemed to have been served on the students.

6.14 Any student who fails to clear all the dues shall be barred from appearing in examination.

6.15 All applications must be addressed to Principal.

6.16 The Principal reserves the right to modify any of the Institute rules as and when necessary. The decision of the Principal in all matters shall be final.

6.17 All powers relating to discipline and disciplinary action are vested in the Principal.

6.18. The Principal may delegate all or such powers as he deems proper to any of the official of the institute. Every member of the staff has authority to forbid disorderly behavior within the institute.

5.1 A student must be properly attired at all times, both within & outside the college premises.
5.2 Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform. Modification to the uniform is not allowed.
5.3 At primary level khaki Shalwar, Qameez and black shoes and black socks while from 6th to high school level for boys Khaki uniform (Pant shirt), black shoes and black socks. White in summer, & in college white shirt & Karachi gray pent & blue tie is prescribed.
5.4 Students are discouraged from wearing any form of jewellery or unauthorized accessories.
5.5 A student who is not correctly or fully attired (Uniform, belt, etc) may be refused entry into college.

7.1 All students are expected to maintain near appearance and good personal hygiene.
7.2 Boys must have a smart army hair cut, that is, hair should be of acceptable length and not touch the collar.
7.3 Girls with long (shoulder-length) hair must have it tied up neatly and wear scarf.

Hostel

Facilities at ACOS Hostel:-

As for as the hostel is concerned all the students of high and higher secondary level are liable to stay in the hostel. There is no relaxation for local students to stay at homes. They have to join the hostel at every cost. The students staying in the hostel have to strictly follow the schedule formed by the administration. ACOS hostel is fully equipped with different facilities.

Dining-hall:-

There are two big dining-halls in the hostel, where the hostel students meet at meal time and have a chance to share their thoughts regarding their respective problems.

Power backup:-

This area has its own transformer but in case of load shedding there are two generator to fulfill the needs of institution. Due to which student’s studies. This helps a lot to keep their schedule undisturbed.

Dairy farm:-

The institute has its own dairy farm for the production of fresh milk.

Prayers area:-

ACOS campus occupy a large prayers area having capacity of 200 students at a time for offering prayers. A “Khateeb” is arranged for “Juma” prayers.

Sports week:-

We have our annual sport week. The week is full of fun and excitement. In this week playgrounds are well decorated. All boys can participate in any type of game. The preparation started week earlier. The events includes race, volleyball, football and

Every year the event closed with prize giving ceremony.
